These coincidences are absolutely why people related so strongly to the message in "The Secret". I now just focus on these never ending connections (i.e. coincidences) and ponder "was it a premonition?", "was it the LOA?", or nothing more than just a mere coincidence. When you realize how often it happens, it is very difficult to believe in "mere coincidences", and that is what sparks my imagination. If there are no coincidences, then what is truly going on around us?There's only butterflies...https://www.blogger.com/profile/12839264327567297954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8600139.post-39050888272072037572009-12-20T10:46:34.773-08:002009-12-20T10:46:34.773-08:00"I know health is important to you,Id like yo..."I know health is important to you,Id like you to learn about Usana, a leading company in the field of nutritional supplements. This does require a great deal of research and background reading, even more than just presented by Dr. Wolf. I recommend "The Network Of Thought" by J. Krishnamurti. I also recommend "The Universe as a Single Atom" by the Dalai Lama (there is an audio book that is great to listen to). These are just a couple of references.

When you combine the in-depth knowledge of Dr. Wolf's Quantum World with the spiritual insights of Krishnamurti and the Dalai Lama (just a few examples) you may begin to understand just how the mind works - and more importantly, learn how the mind can fool you into thinking you are using LOA for your benefit but in fact are using it against yourself.

The LOA is an extremely delicate and important subject. The more you research it - and this includes Dr. Wolf's research into Quantum Physics - the better prepared you are to acquire the mental skills for your own benefit - and for the benefit of others. Remember the basic rule of giving and receiving: it is better to give than to receive. But this has NOTHING to do with material things.

All your thoughts are the beginning of your experience in the material world. The mind has no concept of "out there". From the perspective of the mind, everything is just another form of "you". So when you put down others or things, you are actually putting down yourself from the perspective of the mind. And since the reverse is also true, the more you praise others the more you praise yourself. Therein lies the "secret" of the LOA.

Thanks be to Einstein and others like him for providing us with the Science to understand the Mind.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04469300770233555539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8600139.post-45454545256348477742009-02-06T01:50:00.000-08:002009-02-06T01:50:00.000-08:00True or Not. Hope for the hopeless, doomed, and depressed. Drive for the student that finds success in school impossible for him or her, now possible through a belief that they cannot muster on their own. The secret is like Adrenaline for the human spirit. To debunk or douse this hope that you participated in creating is hypocritical and self serving at best.
You don't "think" the universe works this way. Clearly you admit that we now know that the universe is much more diverse and perhaps mystical than previous generations ever suspected, so you cannot say for sure on this either. So what proof exists that LOA or thoughts have no effect on our own path through the conscious dimensional universes and why did you participate in the production in the first place?
- Yes, I am a fan or I wouldn’t have bothered.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05858942606726264579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8600139.post-88665829384443642112009-01-01T11:26:00.000-08:002009-01-01T11:26:00.000-08:00Dear Mr Wolf. Since you are a physicist of a spiritual nature, I'd like to quote you in my paper.

i am posing that the "nature of reality" is creative potential. i actually came to this conclusion long before i ever heard of any buzz about "what the bleep" and before i had any sort of formal education. upon research, i've found many sources, but i don't want to quote the movie, since it's you, specifically, that drew me to the movie. i was wondering if you could briefly (if possible) exlpain creative potential on a quantum level?

also, i will probably be on here a lot in the future.

gravity_wins@hotmail.com is the email address i regularly check.HDrinkwaterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01625959294261855338noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8600139.post-67935231297369067672008-10-04T00:25:00.000-07:002008-10-04T00:25:00.000-07:00Dear FredI was really glad to find your blog a few...Dear Fred
I was really glad to find your blog a few months ago. But I do think that matter is an expression of energy and energy is an expression of consciousness. To me, nothing exists that is not within the domain of consciousness.

So, just as it is possible for a Sufi master to conjure up physical matter and to communicate consciously with another person through thought alone, each of us has the innate ability, realized or not, to do the same - and more.

JohnAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04469300770233555539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8600139.post-76022055225234613892008-06-26T08:32:00.000-07:002008-06-26T08:32:00.000-07:00It seems to me that Dr. Wolf has said all that nee...It seems to me that Dr. Wolf has said all that needs to be said on this topic. His books support his work with ample detail.

I really appreciate Dr. Wolf's work and the way in which he has managed to bring science to the masses. What God is to me has changed dramatically as a result.

Whatever the Law of Attraction (LOA) is and how it works is bound in the elemental principles of nature. Even that statement pales in the presence of the raw energy that pervades the universe, that which we are, which everything is or could be or ever was.

I sometimes ponder about the nature of consciousness. Every elemental particle of my body contains the essence of what is found anywhere in the universe. If I am self-conscious, self-aware, then would it follow that consciousness has its basis in the most elemental packet of energy of the universe? Wouldn't that mean that the entire universe is self conscious as a whole and even in part? Any part? Is intelligence limited only to evolved expressions of the universe, or is it pervasive throughout the universe, in all things, and only appears to exist in that which we call human beings due to how such beings are able to communicate with each other?

Understanding these questions gives rise to understanding the true nature of LOA. That which you think is a product of the universe expressing itself as you. All that you think is connected to all the rest of the universe. The universe is boundless in its ability to express itself. Does it follow then that you are boundless in your ability to express yourself? Because whatever you think, the universe knows of it. If you're thinking is in tune with the universe, the way it functions, then you should experience what the universe can do - create itself out of nothing.

And that is exactly what you do with each movement of your body. In the quantum sense, every packet of energy that makes up your body is constantly recreating itself from here to there with no in-between. Quantum leaps. In the gap between here and there is every possibility of what it could become, all things at once. It is your thinking, your will, that decides what is next and creates what appears to be the inevitable. And is it really your will? Since all that we are is intrinsically tied to all that is, is what we call our will really ours, or is the will of the universe expressing itself as us?

Yet, we appear to be able to choose our individual actions. By observing our environment and ourselves, we are constantly creating what we are and what the universe is to us. It appears that we have the conscious ability to create according to our will, but if that will is not in alignment with the will of the universe, not connected to it, the only thing that is "created" is a fantasy, the manner in which we think we see the universe unfolding before us. In effect, we twist what is reality into what we want to believe it is, but it only in our mind that it is so.

So, it seems that the task at hand is to be able to see what is, not what we want to believe. This seeing is not done with the eyes, but with the mind. Only by freeing ourselves of the beliefs and fairy tales of what we are told we are, what the universe is, will we be able to be at one with our true nature.

And of course, all of this is purely speculative, conjecture, but it is based on what we understand of quantum mechanics.

LOA is active within us at all times, because the universe itself is constantly active within us. And that is what God means to me.

JohnAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04469300770233555539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8600139.post-9450915806028314842008-06-26T05:54:00.000-07:002008-06-26T05:54:00.000-07:00Hi FredI keep checking back to see if you will wri...Hi Fred
I keep checking back to see if you will write other entries into your blog. And if you have time to even have such a thought you may consider yourself to be part of a community that is not suffering.
As it is said: Necessity knows no law. In a society where there is great distress there is little or no time to focus on laws, laws which is products of the peace and patient it takes to come up with them. In our society we have time to think of anything that comes to mind and searching for higher purpose may just be a cry for some action. Mankind isnt that old. That is, that answer implies that Western civilization and its expansive development was "on purpose" (i.e., building the infrastructure mentioned) and that remote tribal people were not. That those in, say, Papua who have not developed elborate systems that permit its constituents to pursue activies beyond survival would not be "on purpose." It is hard for me to accept that only developed civilizations are executing their purpose here and that those immersed in day-to-day survival are somehow off track.

Is not the concept of "higher purpose" simply an artifact civilized life?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16302089108123346213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8600139.post-86266412319553581192008-06-04T22:35:00.000-07:002008-06-04T22:35:00.000-07:00Sorry, I didn't know if my password was going to w...Sorry, I didn't know if my password was going to work and I hit publish instead of preview. (Thus, the "test" above.)

Fascinating blog. Loved it. However, the idea of having a "purpose," as it's typically used in this context, strikes me as actually dependent on a well developed civilization. That is, would I have a purpose in the same sense as you suggest if I am born in a remote tribe in the Amazon where there is no broad supporting structure that permits abstract individual pursuits rather than struggling to survive? If the culture into which I am born is completely survival based, can it be said that, say, hunting and gathering is my purpose? And since most of Western civilization was built on the backs of exploited labor, what does this say about slaves, for example? That their purpose was to sacrifice for our "higher" purposes?

I believe it is easy to buy into the concept of “purpose” when a strong economy and comfortable living conditions allow it. But should one be born into slavery or other harsh conditions, “purpose” seems hard to justify. Natural conditions do not seem conducive to living for an abstract purpose. If the environment one is born into does not support self-actualization, how can one say we all have purpose?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16302089108123346213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8600139.post-27596025771988778142008-04-28T06:14:00.000-07:002008-04-28T06:14:00.000-07:00Dear Mister Wolf!I just saw the dvd "The secret" a...Dear Mister Wolf!
I just saw the dvd "The secret" and I felt so good watching you talking about that so I found your blog.
I'm french, sorry for my bad english!
Just want to say thank you for your smile, I love it!
I'm a dreamer and thought is was a trouble but now I know this is my power for a marvellous life!!!
Thanks again!Natacha Gozenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05758561569081994219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8600139.post-70488231134393265582008-03-25T14:57:00.000-07:002008-03-25T14:57:00.000-07:00Just thank you. What you call the LOA is not, period. You have got it all wrong or rather only half right. You should half knowledge is dangerous.
You got the pickpocket part right, I will tell you how it works with rapists. Rapists are dogs, literally. When they see a "victim" who acts like one(the ones who fear being raped) and they are the ones who are most likely to lose their composure in a lonely street. Girls who fear being raped already start behaving like a victim(the same way a "tugger" does). This "fuels" the rapist(and in many cases someone who would have never thought of raping if it was a girl who had walked by with confidence) the same way fear would "fuel" a dog and it will try to pounce on you.
Well the main thing I wanted to tell you is that if you have watched "the secret" then many people missed out on one thing that one of the mentors said...."everybody does not want the same thing". Before I go on I have seen many (pessimistic) people disregard the LOA just on the basis of "The secret". That dvd is just a marketing gimmick so that you "buy" a mentor or take up a whole "course". So things are not complete in that DVD.
Coming back to "everybody does not want the same thing". Someone like had argued in a forum about something similiar. He said what about a race why does only person win. I pointed out to him that no everybody wants to be the fastest man on the planet.
Trying to be better that someone is egoistic not right spiritually. that is definately not the way to happiness.
The problem with the world is today the media and this capitalist world(I am not a communist) makes us want certain things, that our fathers have lived without.
If everybody wanted a Lamborghini the LOA will stop working because there will not be enough Lamborghini for each and every person in the world.
Even in the Secret they imply that you need to know what you really want.
I dont want to win a lottery. First of all it is gambling. Secondly no sane person who knows maths will ever depend on a lottery to become rich.
The LOA works only for things good. Remember it is positivity. You cannot "wish" for someone to die, only for one reason, that that very person will is wishing to live. Whenever there is a clash of "thoughts" the positive thought wins.(if you want to go deep then in that if you are not at a higher level of consciousness then negative thoughts can affect you, this subject of LOA is very deep). So the LOA works only when it is in harmony with the universe. The thought of winning a lottery is going to "clash" with a million other lottery buyers. So it will never work.
These "conditions" are not some pseudo laws but they are infact simple common sense.
I never believed in the secret/LOA i saw it half and came to the same conclusion that you are at this point. I had better arguments, "what about somalia?" who is wishing such harsh living conditions for these newly born children.
But after two years I did something which was similiar to the LOA and looked back in my life and where I was currently and I realised I had been following the LOA all along.
You appear to be a very rational person. I am sure you have taken a very "early" prejudice against the LOA.
The way "they" convince is not the way LOA works. They are just wanting you to buy into it. After understanding the LOA I have found many flaws in what some of the "mentors" say. But it works.
I normally have stopped arguing about LOA and everything in fact. But I just thought I would spend some time cause reading your other articles you are not "narrow minded" and seem open to re-looking at things. First impressions are always not the right impressions.Rajhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14451210332580327028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8600139.post-86976524913066882582008-02-14T10:51:00.000-08:002008-02-14T10:51:00.000-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
